ok here is what you wrote as a scenario;
"You have your food storage in place, six months worth of food and water for you and your family. One of your friends comes knocking saying that his home has been ransacked, they have nothing but the clothes on their backs and they need a place to stay. Your friend has very few useful skills and taking them in would cut down your supply timeline in half. At this time there is no way you can replenish your supplies without risking your own life in one way or another. Would you open your home and your supplies to your friend and his family or wouldn't you? Why?"
We should be entitled to some more info, loike; How many xtra mouths? What are there ages and health conditions? Is this situation the 'New Normal'?

I just wrote my assumptions at the start and went from there.

Each scenario will be live for 3 weeks, voting for one week giving them a 4 week turn around.

I heard about this game on Jack Spirko's podcast show. Nice to see it's up and running here.
Finding extra members you can trust is a big thing- I read a 1956 British SHTF fiction novel by John Christopher, called The Death of Grass(was published as No Blade of Grass in the US- also the name of the really, really bad movie made of it in 1970.) In it a group of folks are bugging out of London to one of their brother's fortified, remote farm after a virus which kills all grasses and grains causes civilization to collapse. As they move they come across more and bigger, and increasingly well-armed bands, and decide to recruit members themselves, which leads the story in interesting directions.
Well worth a read if you can find it. My copy is held together with tape- have had it since the mid 80's and it has been read so many times that is is coming apart...... So many of the more modern bug-out style novels seem to borrow from it- even that Ray Milland/Frankie Avalon movie End of the World follows the moral ambiguity line of making choices between bad and less bad decisions.....
