Found this interesting. I think most people probably have a 'primary' style they align mostly with and a 'secondary' that they partly align with. I'm mostly 'off-grid homesteader' and a bit 'doomsday economist.' What's your combo? homesteadlaunch.com/preppers-types/

Pantry Prepping Pros-these are the sweet middle aged moms who equate the idea of survival with having a basement full of canned foods (some of which they probably canned themselves). Probably also soccer moms. They know the importance of stocking those cupboards full!
Yup thats me lol
I also disagree with this category!
"Right Wing Extremists-swear that the government is slowly taking away our freedoms, and that people are being led down the path of “following the system” without questioning. Everything is a conspiracy, nothing should be trusted–especially if it’s the Feds. The less government there is, the better."
Apart from the conspiracy thing these are libertarian ideas. Right wingers want more government control LOL not less.
AND this list (my replies are in brackets)
What’s Not Real
trying to survive nuclear war - (Unless you are in the blast zone you will need to take good cover from fallout, unless you want a very slow painful death, it really is horrific and it does my head in when I see people say they don't want to survive a nuclear war) stockpiling dozens of guns or extravagent weaponry - (ahhh some people do this as a hobby LOL) piles of money to spend on survival gear - (What piles of money - survival gear has already been paid for) well-oiled meetup groups - (nothing wrong with creating a community of like minded people -we do this all the time for other things) cryogenically preseving yourself for hundreds of years, as a means of escaping disaster (yes some people think this is the answer) (OK THIS is just silly) invincibility - (very few preppers think we are - thats why we prep) 100% wilderness survival (no modern conveniences) - (Um many tribal peoples already do this so it is doable) perfectly working stuff - (Why would you want stuff that wasn't working well?) long term bug out - (Ok) making your house a fortress - (Do not some people already have alarm systems and security doors etc already) planning the New World Order for when the government fails - (Ummm nothing wrong with having a plan to re-establish some sort of order in the community)

I'm none of those. I mustn't be a prepper. Bloke ... your 'avatar' picture says otherwise! That looks a bit like a passion for Armaments. Heh, heh ... and I'm not sure what my old A-bomb / Oppenheimer avatar says about me ...

Woods Walking Primitive Skills Aficionado
You had an outdoor living room before they were trendy!
You represent the "hippies" of the group. To you, survival is about making your own clothes, building your own home, foraging for your food, and in all other possible ways being “at one” with our mother earth. You have learned a tremendous amount about living off the land.
You draw much of your inspiration from indigenous peoples, and like them, you are adept at being able to make shelter, weapons, tools, utensils and all other implements from the materials that nature gives you.
You pride yourself on being able to make fire with flint and steel, a bow drill, hand drill, and a variety of other ways.
A large fixed blade knife is your best friend and with it, you can shelter, hunt, make snares, and lots more.
Even though you may be skilled at carving a life out of the wilderness, you shouldn't let this distract you from other important areas of prepping. In order to avoid becoming lopsided, make sure you aren't discounting firearms and security, stored food, communications or emergency medical.
These other areas of prepping will serve you well in brief and acute disasters.

Pantry Prepping Pro
When the world ends... you're eating better than most of us do now!
You know the importance of having a stocked larder. You see through much of the stupidity in zombies, firepower, and government overthrows, and instead, equate the idea of survival with having a solid food storage plan and a basement full of canned foods.
Your focus on the basics can take you a long way, but don't neglect other parts of preparedness by living solely in your "food storage comfort zone."
In particular, remember that security and emergency medicine are extremely important aspects to how long you and your loved ones stay alive on this planet.
Stay positive and prep on!

I'm a "Die-Hard Tactical Oorah!" as well.
Which is bizarre really as Im not that tactical !!!
I am self sufficient to a degree, have a deep pantry, want to work with my neighbours and don't trust the government much and are prepared for self-defence to a non-US degree !! Not sure how that makes me tactical.
I see see my self as independent homesteader libertarian, more than die-hard tactical - just proving only little value to on-line quizzes !!!!!

Jason Bourne
Pretty sure that's because of the whole "other people" and "police/emergency services" are "threats to be avoided" option.
Not that I see all other people etc as "threats" I'd rather just avoid other people in general when out and about during a situation and not get caught up in their issues.
