Trade wars lead to hot wars. China, Iran, Turkey in desperate financial stress it can only lead to one thing and that is war. Foreign policy is not an issue in Australian politics _ other than job creation around the building of submarines.

I doubt much will happen. The US is unlikely to touch Iran or NK militarily because of the high likelihood of Russian and/or Chinese intervention. I do sometimes wonder if China might invade Myanmar one day. I read the other day that Russia is offering India and Turkey purchase of their new 5th gen Su57 warplanes. The US may well be at the end of it's era of having superior military hardware.
