greyhat: Don't forget to keep all those empty bottles and cans for those that live near recycling centers. 10 cents a piece adds up, so does a few cans of beans here and there!

Exclusive: Sydney residents have dobbed in more than 4000 people for breaking the city's tough new water restrictions in just one month, but only four offenders have been slugged with fines............
I sincerely mean it when I say I want to be on my deathbed and have my three daughters come to me and tell me: "Dad you know when you told us you thought 90% of the human race are oxygen thieves? Well we think you are wrong!" .................................Somehow I don't think it's going to happen!
It isn't the fault of the people that there are water shortages it is the grubs in Government, Public Serpents and their dobbing stooges that create and reinforce these policies (or lack thereof) so why do they always blame and persecute innocent civilians for this idiocy?
so why do they always blame and persecute innocent civilians for this idiocy? >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Because the average individual citizen is least able to defend them selves against policy. Policy is made to entrap individual citizens. It's there cash cow...
Every place I ever lived while on city water had restrictions from the first day of spring, to the first day of winter..
Now here in the bush the pond we have is about 5-6 acres.. Things are different...
The farther north you go, the more things that can and will eat you and your horse. Grandpa Gilbert Keep your stick on the ice. Red Green
I don't follow water restrictions. There's no point in doing so when the government keeps bringing in more people to use the same limited resource. If others want to sacrifice their own usage for the benefit of those who haven't arrived yet they can go for it. I won't be putting my family out one little bit.
