So I thought I'd post up my review about the fenix TK75. Firstly there a few reasons I ended up getting this monster; 1. I wanted a powerful torch for camping and hunting. 2. A powerful torch for non lethal self defence. While the first is obvious to most, the second might be new to some. A few articles from self defence experts recommend a very high powered torch to blind and disorientate an attacker as an effective means to giving yourself a few valuable seconds together away. Now a mag lite has always been my go to torch for this purpose and while it's a great stick, it lacks the power to blind someone. The TK75 pumps out 2900 genuine lumens from it 3 XM - L2 CREE LED and will pump it out around 690m. Factory specs here linkIt has 4 normal 'torch' modes, low being 18 lumen and increasing to turbo at 2900. Powered by 4x 18650 rechargeable lithium ion batteries that can be charged with a car charger for portability, it has the beans to give you 1hr 15min run time on turbo or 200hr on low. This thing performs better than my narva spotties on the cruiser! It just pumped out a ridiculous amount of light! I've never seen anything like it and really, it needs to be seen to be believed. This pic from the fenix site is bang on with the range and spread. Now the downside.. This is an expensive torch, around $270 with charger and 4x genuine fenix 18650 batteries. However if you want an excellent torch with big power and a 3 year warranty then this should be a contender for you. I've also bought there smaller PD35 which I will put up a review later also.

Great post and review yeshi. I have a Led Lenser P7 but im keen to get something a little bigger. Re the non lethal self defense, ive seen this tactic used before but never thought to incorporate it into my own plans. Great work!
