Hi Members!
Well, 2014 is flying and before we know it, 2015 will be here.
So, these past few months, ive been working my butt of to get all the bills paid and out the way. Why you ask?
2015 I plan to take Ausrep up a notch and do it full time. Now, i will need to still work part time or casual but i plan on getting this site really rocking.
I am in the process of creating a website. Ive actually been doing this a little while now. The website will be the main page, from this you will find a link to the forum, both this an Asiaprep (not sure what im doing with the US as yet)
There will also be links to the blog, our FB page, Twitter etc PLUS... i plan to integrate a shop into into the site.
Ausprep will soon be a "one stop shop" for all things in being prepared.
I need ideas and suggestions now....What would YOU like to see..Im all ears.

Cool idea, I'll have a think too. The one stop shop will be great, and maybe have a basic list for a BOB for newbies.

I was thinking about setting up an online store, though the markets for most things I'm interested in are pretty saturated... Though there is only a couple of stand out Australian online stores I recommend to people

I think along the lines of prepping stuff they don't or can't sell in Australia, like Mylar bags and similar products such as Freeze dried foods that are expensive here!
Also kero items, like lights and stoves and fridges... The whole gamete!! "In for a penny,in for a pound"

what about some 'home made' items made by members? Some of us are lucky enough to have access to dehydrators and vac sealers etc, I have noticed a lot of the dehydrated food is very expensive (1kg dried mixed vegies for $20kg), if we could start selling excess of that it would be a benefit for everyone.
Also fishmox.....for the aqauriums all us preppers have :-)

Lol I was, it's called a Buff, a type of head wear. Mine old 1 is in the wash and my new 1 isn't finished yet, I making them by hand for now as my sawing machine needs repair. They are good if you have long hair as I do, but guys can use them too as sweat bands. Attachments:

They would not allow us to sell home dried food with out being Healthy Dept approved! But we could all form a Co-op and buy a commercial Dehydrator and freeze dryer and Mylar bags and Canning supplies and have a commercial kitchen like the LDS church has and people can do there own or we could have a worker to prepare and then sell from store or online!
