Haven't managed to find any in Tassie yet so bit the bullet and ordered 10 cans from Melbourne yesterday.worked out 50% dearer than WA once postage was addded on, but their postage was a flat $19.95 so if it works out ok I'll go through their website to see what else is of use to reduce costs. Will have to get my brother to bring a couple of cartons from WA when he comes across. Not an essential prep but everyone I know that tastes it loves it. Always try to keep a few cans just for a change every so often. Butter arrived today pretty happy with the service 14 month expiry, good 12 months supply in stock now.

I haven’t found it. I’m assuming it might be something that becomes more common in the near future.
Hoping maybe someone comes across it.

Did you know that Red Feather Pure Creamery Canned Butter is now available in a more convenient 340g can vs the 454g variety? Not only that, but the price per 100g is slightly less expensive as well. Purchased directly through Ballantyne: 12 x 340g for $55.20 = $1.35 / 100g vs 24 x 454g for $150.00 = $1.37 / 100g redfeatherbutter.com.au/Hopefully they will make this product more readily available to the general public. It has been over two years since I placed my order for 3 cases of red feather butter. At this point we have just cracked the third case. Whenever we run out of butter my wife or daughter just goes downstairs and cracks a can open. Might not be the most economical thing to do but I know I need to rotate the stock anyway and it has saved me running to the market on a dozen different occasions this year alone between the canned butter and UHT milk. I’ve noticed an ever so slight rancidity over the last few months but my wife and daughter claim to not notice it (maybe I’m more sensitive to it?). I’d be interested in ordering another case in the coming months.

There's a site called Migrocer.com.au that has golden churn butter tins available at $7.71 for the 454g tin. Not sure about postage costs.

Shame nobody seems to stop the red feather canned cheese. I emailed Bega and they said they are not allowed to sell it in Australia: “Unfortunately we are not allowed to sell this item within Australia only thru our Bega Heritage Centre as it is made for export only. Next time in Bega please don't hesitate to call at our Heritage Centre to purchase this and any other Bega Heritage winning cheeses that can only be purchased there.” I’m fine with buying the Kraft (and home brand) spreadable and blocks from the supermarket when it’s on special.

I buy the Kraft (now Dairylea) blocks of cupboard cheese when it's on special for $6/500g block. It's excellent 😂 I'm not sure on how long it's shelf life actually is because we use it up within a couple of months.
