We need to reduce our dependance on fuel like that. Fuel stores make easy targets and take tremendous resources to defend on the ground from saboteurs. With all the renewables being built now, there are so many generators now that to take down an electrical grid would require a massive number of attacks. The transmission lines would be a better target, but they can be quickly repaired and only really matter if a bunch of them are damaged at the same time. Electricity based transport is far more resilient than petroleum based. The obvious exception is for aviation.
