At my place we would be waist high in water! Our house is high set!

On a fairly raised art of town, we would be about 30 feet above the level of the local creek.
Interesting though to see parts of town under water - happens a lot here - heavy downpour, poor drainage, floods!! Had to laugh the last time it happened and Maccas went under water!!

Interesting - is this accurate for if sea levels rose x amount? We didn't get affected by the Brisbane floods a few years back at all, but this shows most of our house under water.

it makes some assumptions. But don't think the brisbane floods would be anything like the polar ice caps melting

I don't think this is accurate at all - it has my inlaws who live 2 blocks from the ocean and are 80 klm away from my house having the same level of water in their street. Given we also live high up as well, I don't think we'd have anywhere the level of water this site indicates.

I'm in central Vic, and it shows just the top of my roof. I don't think that's quite right, but it's a cool way to look at it

Think it might be a questionable program - We are 1/3 of the way up a hill and have water going past us heading up hill!!!! The old blokes place on the corner looks dry and across the creek from his place where the mangroves are looks definitely dry!!!!
Perhaps this scenario is occurring in another alternate dimension where the laws of physics don't apply!!!! :{
