I've never been into fishing but that's a neat gadget, almost enough to tempt me to have a go

(Not trying to hijack the thread - just figured this might be a good spot to place this as a possible idea - if not please delete).
Perhaps others can throw some input in on this if they are familiar with the yoyo fishing system.
I have had a box of trampoline springs for a time and being in the north I am wondering how others think they would go as 'set' lines and the same principle as the 'yoyo' system only after heavier fish with heavier tackle. (We can get some big fish in shallow waters up here - I've seen sharks near 2m swim towards the beach in shallow enough water till they strike 'air' and I've seen 'feeding frenzies' in knee deep receding tides - should be added that I don't go into the water very far{I try to only wet my big toe at most if I have to}at all up here as everything either wants to take a bite out of you, sting you, or kill and eat you - well almost everything. Southern waters were far safer IMO).
So I reckon setting a few springers should jag something worth while in SHTF situ. The more traps/snares and such you set the better your chances. Suggestions???
