Hello everyone from AFP, I was wondering if anyone on here plays the game DayZ? for those of you who aren't aware here's a blurb from the creators YouTube (he's a kiwi!) "Welcome to Chernarus. A 225 km2 open world post-soviet state and one of the areas hit by a new and presently unknown infection which has wiped out most of the world's population. You are one of the few who have survived and now you must search this new wasteland in order to fight for your life against what is left of the indigenous population, now infected with the disease. Go Solo, team up with friends or take on the world as you choose your path in this brutal and chilling landscape, using whatever means you stumble upon to survive. This is Day Z - This is your story." Personally I find DayZ one of the funnest and most enjoyable and immersive games I've ever played. It really brings out true human nature and replicates the way I personally believe most people would act in, everything from being held at gunpoint and robbed for a tin of food to getting an axe a pack or matches and a water bottle and walking out into the bush! if you have a decent PC and or like playing Video games DEFINITELY check it out! Stay safe all.

they made a new wolfennstein, not as groundbreaking as the original but fun nonetheless.
I am waiting for DayZ to not be an "early access" game, I am not a fan of the current trend of game developers releasing half finished products under the guise of early access, only to judge whether or not they will finish it based on sales received during this time. On top of that you are basically getting to use paying customers as Beta testers to find any issues you missed, and if there are any major ones "sorry, its an early access game, we will fix that eventually"

DayZ was originally a arma2 mod
Been waiting for a stand alone version to come out for the PC or ps3 but haven't been overly stressed, it looks good for what it is (a free roam zombie appoc game, where everything and everyone can kill you, and you resporn with a pistol and a bandage...)
The game is appealing (oh grey I was more a duke nukem fan myself when wolfenstine came out... But killing Nazis was always fun)
Would love to see something massive and able to support a lot more people without causing issues... That would be fun in the zombie genre...
A side note there is a Aussie made zombie game series on the ps3... Very "diablo" like with game play (even tho its first person) its called dead island... Very fun, very adult...

The development of DayZ stand alone has been fairly poor [and you can get it on steam] and the arma2 mod is full of hackers. So no, I don't anymore. '7 Days to die' is another interesting game and here's one of the better developments currently out there, though I've not played it. Over all it's fun escapism.

I won H1z1 the other day in a giveaway, it was good fun me and a few aussies, kiwis and russians about 10 of us were running around on a US server when an American teleported to us with an AR15 and a massive magazine and basically "mass shooting'd" us, it's great fun and pretty stable other than the hackers.
