Matilda got me interested in this a while back when she posted that Kogan was now selling groceries. Ultimately, I decided not to do any shopping with Kogan at this time, but I started looking into buying pantry supplies in bulk online. Today I received my first order from www.groceryrun.com.au/. It came in three pretty heavy, largish boxes... Part of the reason I decided to try GroceryRun was because they offered a flat shipping rate of $9.95 anywhere in Australia. A few of the mobs I looked at only offered a shipping rate cap within urban areas of Australia, which was no good for me. I also went with them because they had things I actually use: cooking oils, tomato paste, sugar, oatmeal, kleenex, toothpaste, detergent, neurofen, socks, etc. Overall impression: Pros: -able to get things in bulk for a low price -they actually stock things other than just junk food (though they do sell HEAPS of that!) Cons -the service was a bit slow. It took over a week before my order was finally dispatched. -a few of the items that arrived were smaller than I had expected. Having said that, that was my fault as they did specify the portions -I would have liked flour, and for some reason in spite of stocking sugar, spices, dried fruit, quickoats, etc. they don't seem to have flour. Would I use GroceryRun again? Unless I find a better one! Okay! It's your turn! Have you used online pantry shopping? What mob did you use, and how did you find it???

I to have used groceryrun.com.au and find them to be a bit overpriced, however when they have their monthly or special event sales, they are definitely worth it. I picked up packets of 8x AAA Everedy batteries for $1.50 and they had a 2 year expiry when i bought them.
