Our country has some amazing history. Those that worked the land left lots of reminders of their presence of bygone eras. Love to know what people have come across or witnessed on their travels whether hunting, fishing, Bushwalking or even bush bashing etc. either in deep forests or the deserts. The weirder the better! Hubby picked up a compact mag lite while they were exploring caves once. Not really weird, but its now tucked away in his GHB.

I've found good amounts of entangled fishing tackle under jetties while beachbombing at low tide . If you can snorkel or SCUBA dive for it, all the better, but make sure no-one's fishing above. If seems some fisherfolk get aggressive towards divers beneath them.

Not really weird, but old shacks in the Bogon High-planes, some of which are stocked with basics of survial as a place of refuge.

When my uncle and I were testing our luck in some sand dunes that the army used to run drills on the metal detector found us a torch that still worked as well as several bullets and casings and what apparently was the base plate off a grenade.
