On February 25, 2020, NSW Police Minister David Elliott introduced the Firearms and Weapons Legislation Amendment (Criminal Use) Bill 2020.
This is coming up again soon!
This Bill will give police with additional discretionary powers for search and seizure of firearms and firearm parts without due cause. We must stop it. The Bill will remove basic legal rights under common law, including the presumption of innocence and the right to silence.

The Bill will criminalise the current activities of legal firearms owners by doing simply what we have always done, legally. We need your help and immediate action. Your support is extremely important, as the petition needs 20,000 signatures for this issue to be debated on the floor of Parliament. It will be sponsored by SFF Deputy Leader Phil Donato MP.
A review inquiry was instigated and chaired by our Party Leader Robert Borsak, who first brought this issue to the attention to the hunting shooting and farming communities and has argued against the intended and unintended consequences of the Bill in Parliament.
We are most effective when we are united. Together with the SSAA NSW, lead by President Lance Miller, we are fighting to save our culture, sport and our freedoms.
On behalf of all legal firearms owners in NSW, we urge you to sign this online petition to oppose the terrible consequences that it will bring upon hunters shooters and farmers.

This Bill will have significant impact on you and your freedoms, it must be stopped!
Send this government a message, this is a step too far.

This means if a cop wants to be a serious prick then a model specific Firearm User Manual with exploded parts diagram, a drill press, a bottle of Gun Blue or even a can of WD40 that you have in your farm shed can be classified as a "Firearm Precursor" and he can take your existing firearms away and charge you! Some very Senior Lawyers (LAFOs) in NSW have confirmed this!
