W. C. DeHounddog
It is with much sadness and an ocean of tears I report the passing of Winston Churchill DeHounddog... 2007-2021...
Winston passed peacefully at the clinic from a long list of medical issues..
Winston was 26 pounds of short legged, long bodied, solid bundle of stubborn independence and courage..
A number of times I witnessed him putting the run on a 200 kilo bear down the driveway and off into the bush..
Winston returning from the gate with an indignant look to say, how dare they come into his yard..
He was a slave to his nose and stomach always ready to share any thing you had that might be considered a treat..
I will put up a “dog tag” next summer on the big pine tree he used to like to nap by.
RIP little buddy, I miss you already..

I like dogs more than people, so sorry to hear about your loss.

Sorry to hear your K9 mate has been returned to the earth.
I buried out 14 year old Beagle 3 weeks ago.

Only just saw this, but I feel your pain. I can see the urn with our old boy in it from my desk and despite the fact that it's been nearly a month the sting hasn't eased yet. He had a great life and I'm a bit pragmatic about death, but that doesn't make it any less painful.
Big hugs to you and your family, the loss of a family member is horrid no matter how many legs they have.
