Ever get sick of listening to "Fitzy, Ditzy and fookhead" talk about their "most embarrassing sex stories" on the radio waves these days? Do you want to learn something new every day?
Jump on some podcasts. There's every subject under the sun: from prepping to poker and some good comedy podcasts.
I am listening to some TSP (The Survival Podcast) and am about to try some Armchair Survivalist tomorrow on the commute.
Non-prepping recommendations would be Dan Carlin's Hardcore History (especially the series about Genghis Khan and his tremendous testicles crushing the world) and maybe some Joe Rogan Experience for those with open minds.
I've learned a lot through them and they can turn a boring commute into a learning experience.

Agreed. I don't listen to too many educational podcasts, but I have turned to podcasts for my music. I'm a huge EDM fan (electronic dance music) so I love the fact that all the top DJ's like Hardwell, Gareth Emery, Tiesto, Armin, etc, all release their own podcasts.
Beats having to keep downloading music. Just chuck on a one hour podcast and I'm set.
